This rectangular Jardinière is rounded off and bracketted at the four corners; made of copper painted on a light blue ground in red, blue, green, pink and gold enamels with lotus scrolls surrounding peonies and rocks .
Inside, a Bonsai ornated with jade, jadeite, and coral.

In The Palace Presentation List 0035 is précised that The 2nd Day of The 8th Month of the 13th Year of Qianlong, Yue Xun, The governor of Guangdong Province , offered 4 pair of Jardinière of this type to The Emperor.
